Weaver

Weaver is a one-of-one original mixed-media artwork built around the delicate tension of a spiderweb and the ornament of jewelry.

A web of gold-tone chain stretches across a textured matte black canvas, worked with pearls and faceted beads that catch the light as you move around the piece. The chain lifts away from the canvas in places, giving the web a dimensional quality that changes with the viewing angle. A tiny jeweled black spider rests within the web, framed by an ornate antique-style frame.
